Saturday 13th to Sunday 21st April, 10.30am - 6pm. Free entry
Enter the exhibition through the craft marquee, bush-whack your way through the enchanted forest of hanging trees, follow the needle-felt sculpture trail, brave the spooky graffiti tunnel and be rewarded by the beauty of the secret garden with its knitted plants. Make birds, flowers and tiny boats to sail down the stream and into the park pond, where you will find an outdoor café, games and a bandstand.
This exhibition brings the outdoors imaginatively indoors, and explores the way in which we interpret and play with our green spaces, slicing them into parks or gardens, and building them into our lives.
The first weekend of the festival will be packed full of workshops and exhibition talks. You can try needle-felting, knitting, photography, drawing, electronic music-making and much more. Visit www.milestonestrust.org.uk/expressions to see the week-long programme of events.
