Tuesday 14th September, from 10am to 6pm.
Many food projects and businesses are trying to change the food system by promoting healthy food, selling local and organic produce or increasing peoples access to better food. Not only is this task large, but it is also hard to make these initiatives work, and be financially viable in the long term.
Local Action on Food runs a diverse network of businesses, community projects and individuals who care about sustainable and healthy food.
Come along to find out more about:
- GRANTS AND FUNDING: Is it the best route for your project? Whats available?
- SELLING SERVICES: What can you offer your local authority, local businesses or NHS?
- RAISING MONEY IN OTHER WAYS: Would trading, community investment, loans, or social enterprise work for you?
Tickets: £20 for Local Action on Food members / £30 non-members.
