Come and make your mark at our family event to celebrate the International Big Draw Festival with Let’s Make Art.
Morning Session 11am – 1pm Afternoon Session 2pm-4pm, £8 per child over two years, grown-ups free of charge Suitable for two years old and upwards.
Join us along with Anorak magazine, Cass Art, How Brave is the Wren as well as some bona fide artists for a day of doodling and drawing with art workshops and storytelling for children and their families. This event promises to be a delightful and unique opportunity for families in the South West. Come and draw with professional artists, adding doodles to a large area of the venue and project your artwork onto the walls for everyone to colour in.
There’ll be oodles more drawing activities, games and competitions throughout the day and you could win yourself copies of Anorak magazine and Cass Art goody bags! In the marketplace Jenny, Anorak magazine event’s organiser extraordinaire, will be bringing along her fabulous 60s caravan turned bookshop, How Brave is the Wren. She’ll be in the good company of children’s boutiques Hip Little People and Five Boys Clothing who’ll be showing their latest clothing ranges. Other carefully selected, independent and kid friendly companies will be showcasing their wares too. Luke Drew This will even put your drawings onto a t shirt! Food and drink will be provided by The Pickled Brisket of BEATS collective and we are buzzing to have the lovely Shona from Emmeline, who will be our beautiful barmaid for the day, creating smoothies with a kick for the grown-ups and energy boosting drinks for the kids. So, we’ll get sharpening our pencils and testing our felt tips and getting everything ready so that you and your artists have a fantastic time at Doodle Day.
