Thursday 24th October, 4-6pm. Free entry
The competition invites students from Year 9 to think about a four-bedroom house design, which is sustainable and suited to modern lifestyles. The competition also aims to raise awareness of sustainability, as well as inform students about the construction process and the range of property and construction careers that are available to young people starting to consider their future career options and studying choices.
The project will be based around a plot at the exciting planned addition to the Paintworks site. To find out more about Phase 3, please visit http://www.paintworksbristol.co.uk/index.php?id=87
Five schools in the region have stepped up to the challenge: Hardenhuish School in Chippenham, Backwell School, Colston Girls School, St Mary Redcliffe and Temple and Churchill Academy.
All entries will be on show at Paintworks Meeting Space (Unit 3.10) between 4pm and 6pm.
