Clean Slate Exhibition

Venue: Paintworks Event Space

Avon and Somerset Police present the West Country's answer to The Turner Prize at this art competition for budding artists between 13 and 19.

Monday 4th and Tuesday 5th June, 10am - 5pm | Wednesday 6th, Thursday 7th and Friday 8th, 2pm - 8pm | Saturday 9th and Sunday 10th, 10am - 5pm. Free entry.

With three categories - 2D, 3D and digitally generated - there is scope for painters, potters, sculptors, aerosol artists, photographers, illustrators, installation artists and more!

The best of the West's Hirsts, Hockneys and Holbines will be selected from six district exhibitions across Somerset, Bristol, South Gloucestershire and Bath. At each exhibition there will be a press/judging night during which a panel of judges will select the best of the West's young talent in each age group/category. The selected finalists' work will then be shown in a month long exhibition at the Royal West of England Academy in Bristol from July 3 – July 29.

With the chance to exhibit work alongside famous artists in the West Country's most prestigious gallery and a "money can't buy" experience for the overall winner - the competition is a must for any emerging talents!
